No Calculated Data Equals No Powerful Words
The Carbon Calculation Report accurately analyzes the carbon emissions of each step of the process within the LCA boundary, providing a firm foundation for the feasibility of product carbon reduction.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool for evaluating the energy consumption and environmental impacts of a product, process, or service throughout its life cycle, from cradle to grave, from the collection of raw materials to the production, transportation, use, and final disposal of the product.Currently, LCA is the internationally recognized method for achieving the above objectives.
Based on the conceptual framework of LCA, products and services are calculated in a B2C model. The equation for product carbon calculation is the sum of all materials, energy and waste from all activities throughout the product life cycle multiplied by their emission factors.
01
Define the relevant boundaries of the product/service, understand detailed information about the product/service at different lifecycle stages (raw materials, production and processing, transportation and distribution, usage, disposal), and coordinate and define departmental roles and responsibilities.
02
Support internal data collection within the enterprise, verify the data through communication, and conduct interviews and data collection discussions with relevant departments.
04
Match emission factors and calculate product data based on factors such as region, time, reasonableness, and data availability.
05
Based on the product type and data results, complete the report compilation, and analyze and discuss the data results.
06
Issue certificates and labels based on the product carbon footprint results and report.
